Global Crossing 2Q07 VoIP update

• $114 million revenues from carrier voice, which represents about $46 million decrease on same quarter last year. Decline due to reduced emphasis on carrier voice wholesale and increased focus on enterprise VoIP services.

• VoIP traffic: estimated between 4 to 5 billion minutes during 2Q07, about 8-to-10% of which is international long distance

• Has decommissioned 8 legacy TDM switches so far

• During the quarter, extended VoIP Local Service to 9 more countries. VoIP Local Service provides a customer local phone number in countries overseas for inbound customer calls. The VoIP Local Service in the UK was enhanced with emergency dialing services and Local Number Portability.

• With regard to FMC, the company has been testing NewStep solution along with its existing infrastructure of Sonus and Acme Packet. There was a Phase 3 trial planned where Global Crossing would be testing mobile agnostic scenarios i.e. test with no active mobile partnerships/assets. No update on Phase 3 so far.
