Cisco 3Q07 VoIP update

Service Provider VoIP business update
• MGX represented two-thirds of media gateway ports shipment

• Slightly lower total port shipments compared to 2Q07 due to seasonality

• 170% y-o-y growth in port shipments in Latin America

• Wireless: Several new customer wins in Trunking and VTN (PGW and Italtel SS).

• SBC: New customers with transcoding application with GSR 12K

• New customer names revealed: Winncomm(Russia), Waird Telecom (Pakistan), Flexcom (Croatia), Mude USA (US), IDEA Cellular (India)


Enterprise VoIP business update

• Over 25% growth q-o-q in IP Phone shipments. Over 7% growth q-o-q in enterprise media gateway ports shipments. Over 30% growth q-o-q in IP PBX units shipments

• Strong ramp up in WLAN phones (500% growth y-o-y) due to new 7921 phones

• Cisco is now displacing over 21,000 TDM phones every business day

• Cisco shipped over 1 million phones each of the last five quarters

• Over 14m IP phones shipped so far

• Over 40m VoIP gateway ports shipped so far in the enterprise segment
