Integrated Device Technology 4Q07 Update

Quarterly revenue for IDT was $201.2 million which reflects a decline of 5% qoq. Communications related revenues were approximately 32% of the total revenues which has declined from 34% last quarter. Other segments’ revenue shares were Consumer 19%, and Computing 43%. The rest came from audio segment.

The company continued their engagements with base station manufacturers on the wireless infrastructure side who are working on IDT’s Pre-processing Switch for next generation wireless rollouts.

IDT announced Serial RapidIO, a new family of Central Packet Switches to be used in embedded applications based on DSPs, FPGAs or processors. It introduced four new PCIe switching solutions for the I/O connectivity. It also announced three high definition PC audio codecs to be used in desktops and notebook systems for supporting VoIP.

During the quarter Genband announced that it is using IDT network search engine for its G2 Compact Media Gateway while Datang Mobile Telecommunications selected it with LA-1 interface for use in Datang mobile radio network controller (RNC).

IDT received ISO/TS16949:2002 certification for all its manufacturing facilities in 4Q07.

On the management side, Greg Lang announced resignation from the President and CEO position which he had held since 2003. However he will serve the company till his successor is searched for.
