Several details were missing from the handoff description due to table space so let me clarify here to aid readers with concrete examples of the metrics.
The Agito RoamAnywhere Handover algorithm is the only solution in the industry combining: (1) proactive, deterministic metrics including WLAN location, geographic location and enterprise WLAN integration; (2) reactive, distress metrics such as RSSI/signal strength, packet loss and voice quality/QoS; (3) policy-based, administrative metrics including battery, cost, location, time and end-user.
By extending the handover algorithm beyond prior generations' reactive metrics, the Agito system performs handover before the network degrades assuring high quality rather than waiting until the network starts to degrade to initiate handover.

Thank you for considering DiVitas in this vendor comparison. However, we have a few clarifications we’d like to make, especially in the following areas: primary focus of our solution; partners; PBX integration; scalability; handoff details; and handset support. Please note our corrections below.
1- Product Version in the Market: 2
2- Funding so Far: Series C
3- Stage: Revenue
4- Primary Focus: Mobile Unified Communications, including voice, presence & IM, extension of PBX features to mobile phones and seamless roaming between cellular and WiFi.
5- PBX Partners: Cisco, Avaya, ShoreTel, Microsoft, Nortel, Asterisk
6- WLAN Partners: Motorola, Trapeze, Meru, Cisco
7- PBX Integration: Requires trunk-only integration.
8- Handset Partners: Nokia, HP, HTC, Samsung, Motorola and Brightpoint.
9- Scalability: SMBs, large enterprises and ISPs. Scales from 10 users to
5,000 users.
10- Handoff Details: "Environment Aware Roaming". Handoff depends on dynamic assessment of link quality based on signal strength, QoS and other metrics.
11- Handset Support: Symbian, Windows Mobile (both currently available)
